2. In brief

3. Hosting and server logs

The website runs on a server operated by us in the data centre of netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The domain is registered with STRATO GmbH, Berlin, which also provides our mailboxes. The server logs technically necessary data (shortened IP address, date and time, requested address, data volume, status code, referrer, browser and operating system) to operate the site securely. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are only analysed in case of suspected misuse and are deleted automatically after 14 days.

4. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact us, we process your name, email address, message and selected topic, and – if provided – company and phone number. Form entries are stored on our server in Germany, forwarded by email to our mailbox info@chinaprofis.com (hosted by STRATO) and deleted from the server after twelve months at the latest. We use the data only to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare an offer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A hidden form field keeps out spam bots; no additional data is collected for this.

5. Trevoriq

Requests for Trevoriq pilot access or expert reviews are handled as described in section 4. Purchasing documents are only sent to us after a review has been agreed. The Trevoriq application has its own privacy notice.

6. Transfers to suppliers in China

When we run a sourcing project for you, it may be necessary to share information with manufacturers, suppliers or logistics providers in China – only what is required, usually company and project data, and only as agreed with you. There is no EU adequacy decision for China; the legal basis is Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR (performance of our contract with you). An enquiry on this website alone does not lead to any transfer to China.

7. Retention

We delete your data once it is no longer needed for your enquiry. If a business relationship results, business correspondence is retained as required by German commercial and tax law (six or ten years).

8. Links, encryption, automated decisions

Links to other sites (Nestor Energie, IBSG Magdeburg, Trevoriq, TRIPORYX) only take effect when clicked; the other provider's privacy notice then applies. On the German homepage, the TRIPORYX China-Check (Blue Amber International UG, Magdeburg) is only loaded after you click “China-Check hier laden”; your browser then connects to the TRIPORYX server and transmits your IP address. It sets no cookies. All pages and the form are transmitted via HTTPS. We do not make automated decisions or create profiles.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and – where processing is based on consent – withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3), 15–18, 20 GDPR). Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we rely on legitimate interest, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. A short message to info@chinaprofis.com is sufficient.

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Ours is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Sachsen-Anhalt, Otto-von-Guericke-Straße 34a, 39104 Magdeburg, Germany (datenschutz.sachsen-anhalt.de).
